I had found a Jane Jardine and a John Brown on the IGI that had dobs close to the ones I had found on Canadian census records.

Jane had a brother, William ( born in 1773 and died 1805).

Robert and Jane White had ten children ( all of whom had lots more children! All Robert and Jane's children were born at Milnhouse (Millhouse? Robert appears to have been about 13 years older than Jane. The second child, Jean ( born 1794), married Alexander Jardine in 1813.

In the postings I have received so far there have been mentions of Cron, Irving and Jardine.

Her parents were Thomas , a weaver ( b.1734, died 1797, Milnhouse) and Agnes Rogerson ( born 1734, died 1806, Lockerbie).

My Gr Grandmother was Mary Mc Cubbin born in Leswalt on 15th Sept 1870.
